Turkey saw a notable influx of Saudi tourists in August 2025, with the Kingdom ranking second among Arab countries by number of visitors, according to a recent report from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The data shows that approximately 139,686 Saudi tourists visited Turkey in August alone, underscoring the strength of Saudi tourism and the continued appeal of Turkey as a year-round destination. Saudi Arabia came second after Iraq, with 140,441 visitors.

Industry reports indicate that Saudi travelers favor places that combine natural beauty, deep history, and well-developed services.
- Istanbul: The leading city for Saudi visitors thanks to its cultural diversity, world-class shopping, and fine dining.

Beyond Saudi Arabia, several Arab countries continue to post strong numbers in the Turkish tourism market. Kuwait ranked third among Arab visitors with 43,422 tourists, followed by Jordan, Algeria, and Lebanon.
